Boat and bicycle flower cruise in Holland
Durion this unique boat and bicycle flower cruise you will be accomodated in a ship where every attention is paid to your comfort: you have space, light and a pleasantly structured interior, where you can relax while you enjoy good conversation with a glass of wine in a constantly changing environment.
Besides comfort, the saloon offers an all encompassing view of the surrounding countryside. Outside, the front deck is made into a cosy terrace with colourful flowers and comfortable seats.

Flower cruise day 1: Departure from Amsterdam
Saturday: You can board the ship between 13.00 and 14.00 hours. After welcoming you aboard and assigning your cabins, we will cast off at 14.30 to start a trip to the "New Land". In the lock of Almere we will descend approx. 6 metres to get on to the water level of the canal. We will moor here for dinner and stay the night. Here you can take over your rental bikes and have an opportunity to try them out.
Flower cruise day 2: Cycle in Flevoland
Sunday: After breakfast the cycle tour will start, travelling through the natural park of the Oostvaardersplassen to Lelystad. There you can visit the Batavia ship yard, the Nieuwland Polder museum and the Outlet Centre Bataviastad. The tour
continues via the Polderdijk to the North, passing its spectacular wind farm.
After the Flevocentrale you will enter the polder leading to the Robert Morris Observatory. From there you will travel through the flower fields around Swifterband and over the Ketel bridge to the former island and fishing village of Urk, where we will stay overnight.
Flower cruise day 3: Cycle in the North-East Polder
Monday: During breakfast the ship will sail to Emmeloord, passing the lock and the Urkervaart, the capital of the North-East Polder. Today’s cycle tour will start here, beginning with a southerly trip to Schokland where you can pay a worthwhile visit to the fascinating local museum. Then the tour will continue through the polder, highlights being visits to the lock Voostersluis close to Kraggenbrug, the orchid farm in Luttelgeest and the tulip garden at Creil. Travelling through the flower fields around Creil and Rutte, we shall reach the overnight harbour of Lemmer.
Flower cruise day 4: Cycle in North-Holland
Tuesday: The ship will cast off early in the morning and then cross the IJsselmeer Lake to Enkhuizen in the province North Holland, arriving at approx. 11.00 hours. From this point the cyclists may visit the Zuiderzee museum and then cycle to Medemblik, passing Andijk and Wervershoof, and staying the night in Medemblik. ore information about ocean cruises in Amsterdam coming soon.

Flower cruise day 6:
Thursday: Today we will exchange the Dutch flower fields for the Dutch dunes. You can cycle from ‘t Zand to Callantsoog passing the nature reserve ‘t Zwanenmeer, to Petten. After that, you can cycle over the biggest sea dike of the world, the Hondsbosse Zeewering, where you can visit the exhibition "Dijk te Kijk". Continuing to cycle through the scenic area of the Schoorlse dunes to the artists village of Bergen, you will eventually reach Alkmaar, today’s last stage.
Flower cruise day 7:
In the open air museum "De Zaanse Schans" you can see the beautiful wooden houses, painted in green and white, which are typical of this area. Y ou will also see the different types of working windmills situated along the river De Zaan. From here the tour continues through the nature reserve "Het Twiske" to the city of Amsterdam. Your hotel boat is moored close to the central station in the area "Oosterdok". Tired but satisfied, when you come on board the Noorderzon, you will have completed the tour!
Flower cruise day 8: Back in Amsterdam
Saterday: After breakfast your holiday on board of the Noorderzon will end. We hope that you will have enjoyed the trip, with almost 300 kilometres completed by bicycle!Accomodation on board:

- 2 are cabins for 4 people (2x two bunk beds beside each other).
